The server said she had to brew another pot. I appreciate that but she could have given us a heads up. When the order finally did come the server apologized saying the eggs were hard so she had them redo the order. We placed our straight forward order (bacon and eggs) and sat there a good 15 minutes more again with no acknowledgment that our order was on it's way.
I could understand this if the place was packed but it wasn't even a quarter full. We got our menus right away and were then left sitting there for over 10 minutes without even being asked if we wanted coffee. I should have asked for a different table. With all the shaded seating we were seated directly in the sun. We are locals and after passing by the inviting looking outside area of this diner in the Luminary Hotel many times we finally stopped to give it a try for breakfast.
